How do I defer/un-defer a requirement?

Skip requirements that don't apply to your business.

There will be times when Mosey will bring a requirement to your attention that, after careful review, may not apply to you. This includes requirements where there may be thresholds that determine whether your business needs to resolve the requirement.

In cases where the requirement does not actually apply to you, you can defer it. This lets Mosey know you have reviewed the requirement and deemed it not applicable to your business. Additionally, should you come across it again, you'll know that it's been previously deferred.

There are two ways to defer a requirement:

  1. Answering "Not Applicable" during setup: During setup, Mosey will ask if you've resolved a requirement, and you may notice that one of the options will be "Not applicable." Selecting "Not applicable" will defer the requirement, and you'll move on to the next requirement that needs your attention.

  2. Select "Defer" from the three-dot menu found at the top right corner of any requirement.

Reset a deferred requirement back to "To Do" status.

From time to time, you may need to revisit deferred tasks to complete them or you may need to reset a task you accidentally deferred. To do so:

  1. Click the three-dot menu at the top right of the task
  2. Select "Mark To Do"

You can now proceed to resolve this requirement by manually marking each step as done, or by submitting a Mosey Automation request if available.
