Syncing Employee Data with Batch Import

Upload a CSV to sync your employee data with Mosey to unlock detailed compliance monitoring

You can sync your employee data with Mosey by uploading a CSV file. This is a workaround if you are using a payroll provider that doesn’t have programmatic access.

Follow the steps below to upload your employee data (we recommend doing this monthly):

1) Export a report from your payroll provider for all employees in CSV format with the following columns:

💡Mosey uses the minimum amount of employee data to monitor compliance and reduce the amount of sensitive data stored.

Employee ID This should be unique across all employees and is typically assigned by your payroll provider. This can be a number or alphanumeric ID.
Employment Type This will indicate to Mosey whether or not your employee is a full-time employee or a contractor.
Is Remote? This should be answered as either "True" or "False."
Home Address - State The state where the employee lives.
Home Address - City The city where the employee lives.
Home Address - Postal Code

The 5-digit postal code of where the employee lives.

Work Address - State

The state where the employee works (if a remote employee, it can be the same as their home state).

Work Address - City

The city where the employee works (if a remote employee, it can be the same as their home city).

Work Address - Postal Code

The 5-digit postal code of where the employee lives (if a remote employee, it can be the same as their home postal code).

Annual Salary in Dollars The annual salary of the employee in US dollars, e.g., $50,000
Start Date (mm/dd/yy) The date the employee started work at your company, e.g., 11/10/2020
Termination Date (mm/dd/yy) The date the employee stopped working for your company, if applicable, e.g., 10/15/2021
E-mail This is your employee's work email address.

2) Once the CSV has been created, please reach out to support@mosey.com for next steps.

Data will typically sync in the next business day, and you should see it in Mosey. If there are any issues with the upload, someone on our support team will reach out to you.
