Guide to Annual Reports
Use Mosey to automate your annual report filings with the Secretary of State
You can use Mosey to stay compliant and maintain ‘good standing’ with the Secretary of State. You can see reminders of when to file in the weekly summary email, in the calendar view, and throughout the app.
To file an annual report:
1) Find the annual report requirement (you can see it on the location page or the calendar)
2) Click on the annual report requirement in your ‘To do’ section
3) Click ‘Automate.’
4) Submit the form
There may be additional information we need to collect and a document to sign, depending on the state. Once processed by the Secretary of State, we’ll send you an email confirmation, and the task status will update.
States with annual reports that have tax returns
Some states have a tax return that must be prepared in addition to an annual report. Mosey is not an accounting firm, and we can’t provide tax advice, so you will need to work with a CPA to prepare a state tax return and make a payment. We’ve noted the steps below for completing annual reports in these states. Please contact support@mosey.com if you have any questions.
